Jamie Boyd,

Principal Engineer (Mechanical)

Jamie’s 35+ years of creating product designs for Honeywell, Greengage and IDB have given him an extensive range of mechanical and electrical design experience.  He has created a profusion of products serving various markets including aerospace, medical, agricultural, industrial, and commercial,  driving all aspects of the development process from crystalising needs and ideas with customers and users,  through to the implementation of  volume manufacturing solutions, and beyond.

Throughout his career Jamie has led teams across multiple time zones requiring effective communication,  which has made him more able to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, partners, and clients.

Jamie studied Manufacturing Sciences and Engineering at Strathclyde University where he graduated with a master's degree (MEng) .  During his time at Honeywell, he was certified as a 6 Sigma Black Belt.

When out of the office, Jamie enjoys DIY projects at home and has a passion for landscape photography
